Student Registration Instructions

In order to participate in the LAUNCH Interview Day, you must (1) register for the consortium, (2) apply to positions you are interested in, and (3) be invited to interview. Below we have listed steps for registering.

REGISTERING ON SYMPLICITY

1. Go to Symplicity.

2. Select Student/Alumni.

3. If you have participated in past, simply sign in and skip to the “Applying for Positions” section. If you have not previously participated, click “Sign Up.”

4. Be sure to use your school email, the password will be “recruitlaunch

5. Proceed to fill in your personal information; fields with a red asterisk are required.

6. Once you have submitted your information, you should receive a “Welcome to the LAUNCH Recruiting Event!” email - do not ignore this email; there is a link at the bottom that allows you to reset your password. You have 24 hours to click on that link.

7. After clicking on the link and resetting your password, you are done with the Symplicity registration.

8. Start applying to positions that interest you!


APPLYING TO POSITIONS

1. On the left-hand side of your homepage on Symplicity, you will see a “Jobs & Interviews” tab with all available job postings. Use filters to help narrow your search.

2. When ready to apply, hit the “apply” button and submit the appropriate documents. Pick the correct resume, cover letter, and other materials needed by clicking on one from the drop down menu.

3. Click “Submit.” It should now say “Applied” in the portal.

4. You will also receive a notification via email.

5. Do the same for each employer to whom you wish to submit an application.

 

To go back to the list of job postings, you should NOT click the back button on the browser. INSTEAD use the internal back button located at the top or bottom of the job posting.

If you would like to save a job posting, you can hit the star icon located to the right of the job title on the search page or within the posting information. You can find starred jobs later under the tab that says “Favorites.”


INTERVIEWING

Students who are selected to interview will be notified via email. All students who sign-up for an interview are expected to be at the event.

Important dates to remember:

  • Employers make decisions from Friday, January 3 - Friday, January 10, 2025

  • Student notification day of interviews: Friday, January 10, 2024 - Tuesday, January 14, 2025

  • Event date: Thursday, January 16 & Friday, January 17, 2025
